A woman was pulled from her vehicle on Friday after a car accident in Colorado Springs. She remains in serious condition.
At 10:30 a.m. in the area of 1309 East Boulder Street, a female driver struck a tree, according to Colorado Springs police. She was trapped in her vehicle and had to be removed by emergency responders.
Two off-duty firefighters saw the accident and called 911. They were able to break the backseat window to assess the woman’s condition. The responding on-duty firefighters pulled the woman from the vehicle. She was unconscious and in critical condition.
The investigation is ongoing.
